after OH declared i would have to go to asda tomorrow cos we had nothing in, i emptied the freezer and examined the contents...
2 pork chops
1 stuffed chicken joint
1 turkey joint
1 pack of bacon
3 chicken breasts
11 sausages
1 pack of mince
6 bags of chips with half a portion in
3 bags of veg
his reasoning for saying we had nothing in was "there was nothing quick like pizzas or whatever if we're in a hurry"
i think he should have gone to specsavers... men are stupid!
That sounds like OH, anything that requires a smidge of effort!!
From the top of my head I have -
A bag of bacon wrapped chipolatas that have been in there since last Xmas :rotfl:
23 sausages
Pack of 800g mince
2 packs of turkey steaks
Pack of chicken thighs
Pack of BBQ ribs
A cheese and tomato pizza, that has also been in there for about 9months
Battered haggis (lol)
Bag of chicken dippers
Peas!
Half a bag of chips
Half a bag of frozen peppers
500g pack of mince
4 lamb crispbakes
5burgers
2 scotch pies
A garlic bread baguette
2 packs of pita breads
puff pastry
Hey what could I do with the pita breads? They are packs of 4 or 6? Plus they are value ones, so they go kinda stale once you defrost them. OH would take 2 for lunch but could you use the others in a main meal somehow? Maybe like sausage, with fried onions sorta thing?
I really am rubbish making up my own recipes have no initiatve at all!0 -
Glam, I used infacol with Chris, there is also gripe water and dentinox drops both taste vile IMO and Chris agreed
(Edgar refuses to swallow anything other than milk and if you try he'll just throw up on me as pay back *shakey fist smilie*
I like infacol because you only have to give a teeny bit (0.3ml) where as dentinox and gripe is something like 2.5 or 5ml. There is also coleif but thats £10 a bottle  (if you have a nice GP they'll prescribe it tho)0 -
Pendulous! They were full as well, I'd not fed her in over an hour and had a hot shower in the meantime.
This on top of earlier on, I asked him to move the bag of liquorice out of my reach cause I kept eating it, and he commented, So you're thinking this is it and you'll be overweight forever?
I'm already back in the healthy BMI range. I still have ten pounds to lose but my belly's no bigger than his
Molly rolls her eyes back too. I think it just means she'd rather be sleeping.
My OH wouldn't dare make comments like that, he wouldn't be seeing straight for a week! He didn't even tell me I was fat, when I was 17stone....My big fat ham hock hands would of hit him hard!0 -
Evening all. I hope you're all ok
Just popping in quickly because I'm back to work in the morning, so I need to go sleep! I'm a bit nervous about it, but i'll be fine when I get there I'm sure. It's going to be a big change and take a lot of adjusting to, but it will all be ok.
We seem to be in a feeding at bedtime only routine now (as much as you can judge by 2 days). Izzy wouldn't feed during the day at all today, so I was gutted, but she has fed fine at bedtime. Night feeds only are fine by me - I thought we might end up going that way once I was back at work, so no biggie really.
Anyway, will be back on at some point later in the week. Take care allIsabella Molly born 14th January 2009

See I went into the chemist to get Keira some more tixylix for her cough and they've raised the age to 6? Err why? Apparently they have proven it's not effective in under 6's - How?!!0
