    what buttons said!

plus, even if your eyes didnt get worse, you will still need reading glasses as the muscles in your eyes get older as they wont lengthen and shorten enough to focus on short distance

  • OH had his eyes lasered and if LO needs glasses, I'll start saving so he can have it done when he is 18 (if he wants it).

Ps. you're only allowed to cuddle Edgar on monday if you cuddle Chris too (who will hopefully not be as snotty by then!)

I'll cuddle Chris first - he's my favorite! No offence to the other babies - but Chris is at a much more interesting/funny age! :D

3 - Very kindly offered me to come on Monday. I am going to try but it really depends on time of leaving and how many jobs I can palm off on DH and if I can delay my mum coming till after school hours...... I am going to try though:D

    Melx

And OH is, as we speak, out cleaning the car especially!

I love him today :D He kept me up very late last night :p and he got up this morning at 7.30 with DD2 and did nappy, bottle, dressing and breakfast......leaving me to sleep in til 11! Now he's out cleaning the cars.

I really don't know how you late night/early hours chatting ladies manage on so little sleep!

And, I saw my cousin yesterday, who had his eyes lasered last week! Not sure how much it cost him, or how bad his sight was (but he's has glasses since he was a child!) - but he said its the best thing he's ever done!

eh? Is that because of the white babygrows? TBH, I came across them left in a bag in the car boot from when I brought Liam home from the hospital - I think he only wore them once, if that, cos they were getting a bit small when I discovered them :o

ETA: The official OS answer would be soda crystals and sunlight :D

Yep, they are very white but one of them got pooped on earlier! :o
A nurse going to phone back within 6 hours.

If he gets any worse in the meantime ring them straight back. They will probably advise you to call your local out of hours service so if it was me, I'd ring my GP (the OOH number will be left on their answermachine) and then ring OOH cos it could take them a couple of hours to call you back.

anyone know if cataracts are hereditary? if so I'll need surgery when I'm old coz 3 of my 4 grandparents have had them lasered

Yes, I think they are - soz.

Now £400 an eye is good but I'm sure mine would be more.

Will have to see how much money I have left of my Maternity Fund in May next year - actually, thinking about it I'll get my 19 days holiday pay from work which they wouldn't pay me before I went on Mat Leave so that will be just over £1K.

Thanks Bruno - might be looking into that a bit more :j
I can do pain - I'll just take lots of Calcium first :rotfl:
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
