  • I'm going to make you jelous. I had some cider today. I asked for a shot, then decided I would go for a double instead. I miss cider, but I can't drink a whole bottle on my own, so I can only have it when there is someone to share it to these days. A double is about enough for me!

Well :p to that!! Mmm a nice glass of either fruit cider or vodka lime & lemonade. Now I just need to find an excuse for a drinky?

I wish people coming back from the pub would shut up!

    1) they might wake my sleeping LO up with their loud voices
    2) makes me very jealous that they have been out for a drink and I've been in drinking Dandelion and Burdock:beer:

I am not looking forward to tomorrow it's Derby day. DH is a red and my dad/brother are blue. I will mostly be holed up in the kitchen baking maybe or uhm might spend my time on the pc talking to you lovely peeps?
I live next to a pub, do you feel sorry for me? :p
Elle, if I felt like being that way inclined, I'd do you ;)

We got married as I wanted to have the same surname as Jasmine and I love Chis to pieces and felt that it was the right thing to do. Plus I didnt want to do the whole professional wedding planned around everyone and photographers etc.. so I had 64 people there all day and I really liked them all !! ( no cousins that you havent saw in 20 years or anything ) It was perfect and I would say to do it for yourselves, not for anyone else !!
    :T
You wedding haters aren't getting it :p I had 25 people at my wedding, I like/love all of them and it didn't cost a penny over £1000 :money:
and I looked gorgeous if I do say so myself :rotfl:(a little podgier than I would have liked tho!) I wanted to get married before having another baby in case I got fat :o stupid me, I'm tinner now than when I got married, typical!

Glam, will Jack take a dummy? Sometimes Rhys just wants something to suck on and it's enough to send him to sleep as long as one of us is holding him close... As OH is doing now - while he watches Legally Blonde.. girl! :p

  • Oh - the cheapest (and one of the nicest too) weddings i've been to was a small registry office do, then a religious blessing afterwards and a picnic we all brought contributions for. The bride and groom had got the train down, and I ended up giving them a lift back home again. We ended up having a conversation on the way back as to if I was going to stop for them to get some bits in Sainsburies on the way home. I told them if you are ever going to treat yourself to a takeaway today is the day :rotfl:.

Our wedding was quite small, and was actually just the reception as we'd got married 6 months earlier (for visa reasons!), we had about 50ish people. It still cost around £5k, which was all self-funded (as was the honeymoon, another £2.5k ish) and completely destroyed my savings at the time!
I do sort of kind of slightly wish we'd stuck with the visa-driven marriage and not bothered with the celebration  it was nice though, but it still hurts me when I look at my bank accounts :o
  • sami im not a wedding hater i just not sure i see the point in it x

  • Jesus Ladies!!! 15 pages since I was on here this morning

I am so sorry, I have no hope of catching up. Any highlights anyone?

My son has been an absolute angel for the last 48 hours. Well, apart from waking me at 3am because he was giggling at something  but he was back down in 10 minutes and it is impossible to be cross at a giggling baby :D
Tonight we went to BILs at 7.30pm (already after his prefered bedtime) and he was gorgeous will all the rellies until 10.30pm :T:T He was clearly shattered but had cuddles and smiles for everyone :D Although milky momma kept her distance ;)

Benjamin has also started to talk!!!! When you say 'who's the babba' he says 'babba babba babba' :D

I am awaiting my punishment ;)

How do you do it then? I'd like to do myself up proper for the things coming up, but I havent a clue where to start, I quite like smokey eyes so what colour of eyeshadow would you use for that, like a brown/black/grey? and do I put it up to my brow? THankfully I tend to keep those well groomed, but I looked in the mirror two weeks ago and they looked like they were knitting together, oh dear.
either brown or grey would be nice with your colouring. you need a trio with a pale nude one, a middle and a fairly dark, and you need brushes, none of that spongy crap that comes with them!
do a thorough coat of the nude one, up to your brows, that makes the other colours glide on rather than grabbing to your skin and makes it all easier to blend, and then slowly and lightly add the middle one just on the lid, and then the dark one just by your lashes and around the socket. it is easy really and could be done in seconds but i am a perfectionist and take forever :rotfl: just put the darker colours on slow cos if you put too much on you have to start over completely :)

  • Searching - I just wanted a nice holiday and just needed a reason to justify going to the carribean - so a wedding it was! lol Only joking, to us it just seemed right, I was always against getting married, didn't see the point, but one day I just changed. Same with a baby  sometimes these things creep up on you, there is still time for you to change your mind.

Oh and next may (Rhys's birthday infact) will be our 10 yr anniversary together, but our 4th wedding anniversary :)
