Keira has been fascinated with this chick on youtube doing "princess" type makeup, makes me jealous that I can't do that, but do people REALLY spend about 15minutes applying eyeshadows? Like putting primer on, adding one shade of pink, then another to blend, then another to highlight the edge of your lid, then another to highlight the brow??!

When I'm going out, I put on some foundation, blusher, eyeliner and mascara. I think I look ghey with eyeshadow, but then I put it on with my finger and not up to my brow, and I don't use £15 make up brushes....

i am just wondering when baby girl wakes during the night and its dark and if she cant see me (i am right next to the crib) that she wakes herself up even more and then i have to settle her??

i know i could be completely off the mark but im trying anything and everything.

Angelfairy if you are still around, i am thinking of getting http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3492426/c_1/1|category_root|Nursery|14417537/c_2/2|cat_14417537|Baby+toys|14417556/c_3/3|cat_14417556|Cot+toys+and+mobiles|14417565.htm (but in blue), its seems to have great reviews, though can't vouch for it personnally yet.

Sorry haven't had time to read back and catch up on what everyone has been up to.
OH is back at work next week, so may get more of a chance to come on and read / talk. Two weeks is definately long enough to be stuck at home with him. Any longer and we will most definately start getting on each others nerves.

Just popping over to the pregnancy thread to see if there has been any further births since i last checked.

same here (not to offend anyone getting married or is married) but the way me and philip think why do you need a band of gold and piece of paper to say you love someone  plus why wuld i want to spend money on feeding peole that i either never see or dont really care about :rotfl:x

Me and OH got engaged on my 17th birthday - will have been together 10 years this Christmas and engaged for 9.5yrs!

Do plan to marry eventually but ^^^^^^ that is the way we see it as well. We are happy as we are - plus trying to get all my family together would be a nightmare! I'd like to go away to get married but OH wants his family there, trouble is his grandparents would never travel to the wedding meaning we'd have to get married where they live
Not so bad as it's near my Dad but means Mum has to travel 4hrs and so would I!!!!!!

You are all so pretty - glad I'm not on FB, I'm a minger!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • button i think your gorgeous though honestly your a right stunner (ok now i sound like a lady kisser :rotfl:) x

while we're on the subject of wedding dresses, this is the one i want  i'll have to lose at least 4 stone to fit into it and look fairly decent!!
you do realise they come different sizes don't you? :rotfl:
Make sure you try lots of styles on before choosing though, I wanted one like that but when I tried it on I hated it :p
Ace photos everyone. I love looking at wedding dresses, would never get married though, can't even say my name in public without going beetroot, imagine having to speak aloud in front of a whole host of people, plus I don't have any friends so wouldn't have a bridesmaid or anything lol
you could just elope ;) I didn't have a any bridesmaids

  • I wish people coming back from the pub would shut up!

    1) they might wake my sleeping LO up with their loud voices
    2) makes me very jealous that they have been out for a drink and I've been in drinking Dandelion and Burdock:beer:

I am not looking forward to tomorrow it's Derby day. DH is a red and my dad/brother are blue. I will mostly be holed up in the kitchen baking maybe or uhm might spend my time on the pc talking to you lovely peeps?
