Sorry to hear your news Caz. That's an awful thing to happen. Hope you get something sorted out *hugs*

Quiet day here. Boys have gone to my parents caravan as there is some WWII re-enactment thingy going on that they wanted to go to.

Took Charlotte to see Craig's grandparents. She got the all clear from the extra cancer scans, so it hasn't spread at all. She's having her breast and lymph nodes removed on Tuesday, and hopefully that will be it. She won't need chemo, but she may need radiotheraphy but they can organise a transport ambulance to take her to and from that. She seems quite positive about it and was laughing about getting a chicken fillet to put in her bra :D

Just ordered a take away curry and can't wait until it arrives as I'm starving :o
Here I go again on my own....

Sami, my Mum's in America at the minute

Caz, really sorry to hear about the house... Hope the other one is still available for you...

Well Aimee's just gone to bed... She's spent all day telling me she's starving and whinging for food... Set her tea down in front of her (chicken with mediteranean tomato and cous cous) and all of a sudden she's not hungry... She's flicked cous cous all over the carpet and made such a performance, I sent her to get her pyjamas... She took it upon herself to brush her teeth and hubby just put her to bed!

Now I need to clear the living room floor and get the vac out for the cous cous... Grrr!

ETA Becles, My nan had radiotherapy 3 years ago and the hospital came and fetched her every morning and deposited her back every evening... She read a lot of books and did a lot of wandering around the hospital... My Aunt is having radiotherapy at the minute and she said apart from when the machines are broken and they're running an hour behind... It takes about 10 mins...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Caz - Sorry to hear about the house, what a total knob that guy is!!

I'm using smoking gum to try and get off the fags but JESUS they are horrible and it feels like it's burning the roof of my mouth? My throat feels like I've smoked 30fags at once, and has an odd sensation.

Anyone used it before? Thinking I might change onto something else, cause I'm actually dreading the next bit of gum!
  • buttons, I tried everything, but the inhaler worked quite well for me, cuz it was something to do with your hands

Yeah I was thinking that, I miss the hand to mouth movement. I have had a few fags today, but like 3, instead of 23!

It burns my mouth, I don't think your supposed to chew it for long as it's quite strong. They give me a headrush.

    Must think of the ££££.....

Oh yes and I failed miserably this month to keep £500 in the bank, it's below that right now and I need to do a Tesco shop - I'm crap lol.

I'm still not keen on Keira's hairdo like, reminds me of a mushroom, I'll start pinning her fringe to the side though, as it's the fringe that annoys me, reminds me of my own hair as a kid haha.

I've been using mothercare baby shampoo on her hair as I ran out of the Johnsons one, and OMG it is rubbish, she used to have lovely shiny soft hair, that stuff just makes her hair look greasy and lank the next day. AVOID!
  • Can you not cut them in half and just chew half the gum?

And do you have a savings account you could transfer what's left at the end of the month each month, bet you'd get a lot more than £500 if you left it alone :)

I'm away to do some ironing... Can I borrow yours 3? Mine's only a simple normal one...

Well the £500 in the bank is kinda leftover from previous months and months and it's added up, we tend to spend his whole wage.

Seriously, once my smoking stops, that will save about £200 a month, and that will get put away into savings, as I'd like to take Keira to Eurodisney, within the next year as she is fascinated with Princesses right now. She'd love it :)

Once the expense of Xmas is out the way, I'm sure we'll manage to save up a bit more too.
