Happy Birthday Elliot.
Pants sleep last night, LO wouldnt go to sleep and was then coughing for ages and waking himslef up so gave in and brought him into my bed. Then he was fidgeting all night and then this morning didnt want to wake up...
Dropped him at my mums and he was balling his eyes out.... Bodes well for my train trip to York on Saturday with OH and for possible weekend away in Oct!!!!
For mums with slightly older LO's have any of them got pillows yet ? he was much better when leaning on OH's pillow......
Get well soon little one
Archie doesn't use a pillow yet Maz - I have given him one on occasion but OH thinks it is dangerous (even though he is nearly 2 lol) and keeps taking it off him again. He doesn't seem bothered tbh so even though he is now in a "big bed" and it looks wrong I think I will wait now until he asks for one.feelinggood wrote: »Talking of rods for backs and self-settling. Those who fed/nursed babies to sleep, when did it become a problem for you? LO is 5 months old and I still nurse him to sleep whenever he wants, and have no problem with doing so. My Mum loves it, because I let her rock him to sleep. When might I get fed up doing this, or will I not?
Feelie, I fed Archie to sleep until it stopped working ie he stopped always going to sleep while feeding. I then started to put him down awake after the feed (around 18mths) and after a while I rejigged the routine and now we do feeds before story and songs to help him disassociate booby and sleep so that he will still go to sleep when no longer a booby boy.Just wondering: Those people with older children (like 2 and over) who still use pushchairs - would you be offended if another child thought they were a baby because they were in a pushchair? I ask because Alice thinks anyone in a pushchair is a baby (genuinely that is - not in a derogatory way) and today when we were in the Coop there was a girl who looked slightly older than her in a pushchair and she was saying, "Baby, hello baby." to the girl. Obviously I correct her at the time when she does this but I wondered whether I ought to put more effort into teaching her that people in pushchairs aren't automatically babies.
Archie even thinks disabled people (grown ups) in wheel chairs are babies:rotfl:thankfully hes still cute enough to get away with it.MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
Jamie has been weighed today and is now 22lb 6oz!
Poppy had her 2 year check yesterday and she has met all her development milestones for age 'with ease'. I thought she might play up a bit when the HV asked her name and she replied 'Jamie is my brother'!:rotfl:

Tony, every time. Sami, McGee is cute but in a pat on the head kind of way, not even close to the Tony mmm factor.
Wondered why pregnancy thread is so quiet tonight, all our chatterboxes have migrated.
Bump has settled down again now so I'm tormenting her with more RLT, which I hate but she seems to love, so we'll see what happens over night.
