Finally I find someone who was the same as me :D Doesn't it take some explaining when other people ask you what you do/when you are going back to work etc? I like to watch the reactions and find that different responses/names for the same thing can illicit such different responses from people:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    e.g. I don't work, I'm a housewife, I'm a homemaker, I'm unemployed, I'm a stay at home mum, etc etc etc

I am a stay at home mum :D. After Poppy I always felt the urge to clarify my status by stating what my previous job was but now, after Jamie, I'm a SAHM full stop! :rotfl:

PS: hope you had a wonderful hol!

  • we always set up the presents from santa !! I thought everyone did ???

All my childhood presents from Santa were wrapped up and it was my Daddy's job in the morning to make/stick/glue/batterise :D.

I think the thread was more about things bought from eBay/charity shops without boxes ;).

I'm down as a teacher on Alice's birth certificate because OH registered her and forgot that I wasn't anymore. I only ever did 12 days of supply anyway.

  • Christmas morning was always the same at my house as it is now
Come down stairs and all santa presents are sitting out (smaller ones are in a sack)
These are played with for a wee while, get pictures taken etc.. then we have breakfast together
We all then sit in a circle with Daddy beside the tree, and he passes out the presents to everyone one at a time and we open them as we are given them so everyone can see what you got and hear who it was from.
Then everyone goes and gets dressed into their new outfits that you always get for christmas morning.

Then it is a free for all the rest of the day doing whatever you want Always with christmas music on in the backround.

Sami, how do you use the dylon dyes? I have some black clothes (and a few things with bleach stains) that I want to dye but I'm scared of making a big mess!
If its black stuff get the 'Wash & Dye' you can get it in asda/tesco you just shove it all in the washer set it off then add soap and set it off again then do an empty wash to clean the machine, I've used it loads for black jeans it's fabby! :D
