.. thought he was dieting? :rotfl:
Very good point!
I've been home, nabbed lots of random things (laptop tray thingy, Morrisons magazine, Boots voucher, etc) and also been to the shop for more chocolate and biscuits. My sis is visiting tomorrow so I've got to have something to go with her cuppa, haven't I?
OH has been keeping Rhys amused. Apparently they've had tummy time, Rhys changed, in his PJs and now snoozing in his bouncer, OH has changed the steriliser water, done the washing up and made a start on my tea - a lot to fit into an hour! :cool:0 -
Hugs to Elle and Rhys and fingers crossed that the new tablets work their magic.
On the huggies/pampers debate, we've found that huggies fit Caitlin better than pampers. We've only used two pampers on her though (that came free with the Bounty pack) but I had to buy a pack last week to get the free Boots changing bag, so when she is big enough for them (I bought size 3 and she's still in size 2) I'll give them another go.0 -
Do you think he was trying to prove a point of some sort?? My OH would only ever do that much in an hour if hw was after something !!

Krystal (or anyone else)...what are the current guidelines on the storage of breast milk in the fridge?
When I first started expressing, everything I read said 48 hours but my HV told me that they'd revised the guidelines recently (as in very recently) and the advice was that it can be stored for 5 days in the fridge.
I've got some that I expressed two nights ago that Caitlin hasn't had yet and I'm wondering whether I should chuck it (as much as it pains me to do so)

Dunno, but whatever he's after, he ain't getting itMaybe it was because I pointed out how much I neeeeeeeeeeded RR and how I couldn't have it because the 5/6 biscuits he'd left wouldn't be enough

Its this one. I've had a few steam generators in the past (I get through a lot of irons!), but this is my absolute favorite!
Its halved the ironing time - the steam is so powerful you only have to iron the front of most stuff!
I can't imagine how stressful moving house with your brood would be! There was only three of us when we moved here and that was horrendous! I vowed to never move again, or if we do, me to go away for a weekend and have someone else move me! :rotfl:
We had a Sky man call earlier, to try and convince me we'd be better of with them rather than Virgin who we're with now.
Strangely enough, I happened to have been comparing them last week and had made a spreadsheet.I invited Sky man in and showed him my calculations - and he left, saying yes, i'm better off with Virgin! :rotfl:Who cares if he now thinks i'm a crazy spreadsheet lady! :rotfl:

Chopsticks, I was told that it's just like cows milk, sniff it and if it smells ok it's fine.0

we cant get virgin or anything for that matter apart from BT vision and Sky
but then we can only get about 5 different broadband providers too, even though one of the biggest supply lines is about 5 mins from my house !! Those stupid English companies better get their act together and start giving us cheap stuff !!!

Hey peeps
Lilia had an unsettled night last night but not too bad. The crying tailed off and she just kept waking all night really. I fed her eachtime although I don;t know if she was hungry and it was pretty much every hour so Im tired today! We didn;t go anywhere today - stayed in bed all morning dozing and playing, then she had some naps this pm too. OH is trying to get her to sleep upstairs now. I could have got her off ages ago but I like to involve him and have some time off myself.
Thanks for the help and PMs.
Next challenge - spacing the feeds out and learning how to tell if she is hungry in the night or not. I now wait till I see open eyes but am fearful she will wake fully, plus it is still every two hours or less. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
