Says 92 posts, not giving me a percentage though and I'm dumb!

Keira's nursery teacher told me today that Keira is a bit moody, haha, she is a right grump sometimes, she needs more sleep I think! She can be a right whinger sometimes, and makes noises like "Weh, meh, Urgggh, Murrrrgh" instead of an answer, or if you are REALLY lucky you'll get the shrill high pitched yelp. Lurrrvely.

Feel like having a nap but should really wait until OH gets my cat....

Amber was up from 3am last night, every 10-15mins. She didn't want fed, or cuddled and kept spitting out the dummy. Luckily DH in on back shift so I sent him out to take the boys to school. She eventually had a big feed at 7am and we then slept from 8am till 12pm.

Talking of breast feeding milestones, it will be 6 weeks on Thursday for us. Not exclusive as she does get 1-2 FF a day, but we are working to cut that back down to 1. Today we haven't had a FF at all :D Going to express in a moment (5mins once the horn is sterile). Have to try and express more often to get EBM to take out rather than relying on formula (I don't think I will ever be comfortable feeding anywhere but at home).

    How is everyone??

Oh yeah, Sami, if we move to wigan, will your mum do my ironing too? :D

it as high as that? I know in the 2000 infant feeding survey, 49% of babies were weaned before 4 months and 49% between 4 and 6 which leaves 2% not weaned before 6 months. Since more people end up FF I assumed the EBF figure would be lower but maybe people who EBF are more likely to wean later? I think it would also be interesting if they included parity in the survey.

That is very interesting, I was starting to think it would be something like that.

I had to give calpol this morning :( LO seems to have lost the tongue thrust reflex and can sit unaided. Hoping to start somewhere between 6-8 months.

I wonder if there is a link between FF and early weaning?

Toby weighs 20lb 13oz, a gain of 7oz after a slow week of 3oz previously.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

arrgggh!! Holiday may have gone tts up!
The actual owner has said there's too many of us and refused the booking!
the cottage has: "First floor: 3 bedrooms – 1 king-size double, 1 twin room and1 single room. Bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin." how is having the apropriate number of people in each bed plus a baby in travel cot too many!?

Have I been stupid all this time? We've never done skin to skin cuddles since leaving the hospital :o Do they really work?

Btw, just realised, as of last Friday Rhys has finally spent more of his life at home than in hospital :D Been home nine weeks today :j

    Woo, that's fab :)

I'm wrestling with this stupid hand pump here. It keeps falling apart as I'm using it which really doesn't help. I got myself all tearfull earlier (still not recovered from complete lack of sleep over the weekend, which really isn't helping) but spoke to DH on the phone and feel a bit better now. I can't get a big cry in here when Izzy is around - she finds it really funny and laughs at me, and makes me laugh too. Hoorah for babies!
