If it were me, then, I'd remove the program's folders where it's installed to - ie: C:\Program Files\Tall Armour - change the folder to -Folder Armour. If it spits it's dummy, rename it back.

If renaming does work, then run CCleaner again and remove all entries of it starting up.

Am still in trouble. I have a firewall installed (PC Tools) but no AV. I feel I should get rid of all traces of Avast and Tall Emu online armor but do not know how. I have also subscribed for downloads from Emusic and the tracks are not downloading. Help please and if possible keep it simple. Current Hijack log below.

I followed the instructions to see what drivers are present. (Device Manager) Have a series of yellow question marks under "other devices" with the words unknown device.

Thanks aliEnRIC. Have now downloaded and registered Avira. But it will not update. Nor will Malwarebytes. Super antispyware does update. Is it the result of the remains of Avast? It has not been installed but there must be some of the program in the computer.

The main problem is that armor firewall. Clearly its still running. It can be stopped but thats by forcing it to stop which could possibly make a mess of things (Its really not a good idea to try things like that until all other ideas have been exhausted)

Remove all files pertaining to armor firewall while disconnected from internet. Download this first , then type armor in search box and delete files.

Great tool for removing all traces of uninstalled programmes.

When you tried to reinstall Tall Armour, what error, if any, did it give you?

I'm inclined to tell you to remove any registry entires related to Tall Armour, after renaming (not deleting) it's folder in Program Files. But, I don't know what registry entires Tall Armour uses.

I might install Tall Armour firewall on a spare machine I have, and see what I can find out for you - it won't matter if my spare machine breaks, that's why I use it for software I'm not sure of.

When I double click to install online armor nothing happens. When I search for folders or files and try to delete I get the message "Cannot delete antispam.dat.Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently inusse.
