by the way is that enough to clear your CC debt????

And at least you got more than the garage offered you!!!!

Yes, thank goodness. With a little bit left over. :D That will probably just go into a savings account until something gives up the ghost - our TV has been on the blink for about a year now so that's going to be expensive to replace.

i would email the buyer and see how they are going to pay. Send them an invoice and take it from there.

I've sent them one of the e-bay invoices, together with a message on the bottom saying to contact me to arrange payment. She hasn't contacted me right back though - I can imagine her there emptying the piggy bank!:D

    Well done Stumpy :j:j

Hope the payment goes smoothly for you.

I wouldn't advise a cheque either, take a bankers draft or transfer :D

The winning bid was £9880. It was very quiet up until about the last 10 minutes or so, and then there was a flurry - or at least it seemed to jump a bit, in the last few seconds.

Hmm. The woman who won hasn't responded to either my e-bay invoice or my e-mail yet - should I be worried?

Edit: She's actually just responded - will have the money by Monday and will transfer it automatically by bankers draft?! I'm hoping she means a bank transfer. I'll keep you posted!
