Sadly the nearest is an hour away, because they sound great! I can't travel an hour at the moment. I will probably try again at the CAB, but I didn't find the disability adviser that helpful. I wish there was another charity in the area that could help. I will try that website though, it looks great, thanks!

its worth a call anyway, they may be able to arrange to come to you instead of you going to them.

Ah that's good! I will try that then.

I had help from the CAB for going to the tribunal, and she just phoned me to see how I got on. I asked if she could help me with starting again, and she said the CAB didn't have the resources available, so that's just great!!

I will give DIAL a ring and hope they can offer help anyway.

Didn't she actually go to the tribunal with you? I know DIAL do, but not sure about CABs, I think it's down to the individual one.

Maybe you could try one of the other Colchester CAB's, I know there are a few? I think her attitude is disgusting, maybe they 'dont' have the resources' because their help is failing so many people they can't deal with that?!
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

No she didn't. She didn't have time. :(

I didn't know Colchester had more than one? This one has changed address a few times, but is the only one that I know of. I will google it now.

She said I could go in and ask a general advisor - but they aren't an expert. They are always very nice, but as their name implies, have general knowledge, not specific.

It's on Crouch Street now. Sir Issac's walk is the old address. Can't see any others?

Actually in Colchester it's Crouch Street, but there's a couple more within about 15 miles, I don't know if that's too far?

Yes, that's what I said. :) 15 miles is okay. Is it okay just to go to any then?

Can the legal advice people help fill it in then? They would probably charge though, wouldn't they? Or am I looking at the wrong thing?

No, Community Legal Advice don't charge, they'll help you fill it in but it'll all be done over the phone.
