400 sales over a 12 month period with the DSR check rolling as it does now for PS status if your sales are less than xxxx per month.

I'm a PS with 99.9%, 4.9 across the board on 400+ sales over the last 12 months.

I don't qualify even though my customer satisfaction rating is 99.4% as I have had 3 1/2* in P&P yet I ship using free P&P to the UK!

That's less than one person every two months.... I don't know how many sales the poster has, but let's be honest- in real world terms, not ebay terms, that isn't bad. (I will point out we are on the way to the new top rated thingmy, so this isn't sour grapes- I just think these standards are stupid.)

I have feedback of almost 5000, and have narrowed this feedback to some items I listed, and scanned (both sides) so that the buyers could see exactly what they were buying.

Any idea how much clearer I can be ?

i have sold a few dvds and bluray recently , and yet i get marked down for postage and packing charges? when its compulsery free p&P!

Please can someone explain to me this whole DSR thing. I am really confused. I had my email but just could not get what they were on about. I understand about getting the star ratings for each part of the transaction but this percentage side of things has lost me.

Personnally, I intend to mark-down all the big retailors who sell on ebay. If we all do this, then the little guys will see their items go higher in the search than the likes of Argos.

OK, so here we have someone who admits making a nonsense of the stars..it just proves that buyers can't be trusted (even if they think they are doing it with good intentions). Personally I shall go and have a bit of a panic now in case I come across a vigilante buyer like this who wrecks my stats.

I'm sure the "little guys" would rather you bought their items and pushed them up the best match rather than buying from Argos to do something that will probably make no difference to them. :rolleyes:

Ebay has had its day. I'm not selling on there anymore. Its become a victim of its own success.
