Hi guys, sorry for the late reply, been super busy!
Just wanted to say thanks all for your replies and info, I think I'm gonna look for a different design PIR. I've found one on Amazon that has 180 degree view and will cover 12 metres, which I think should be sufficient for our garden.The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with.
