I think this will probably be a well attended preview. Firstly, the book was a hit and secondly the weather (hopefully) will have improved and people will go because they have given up on other films because of bad weather. I've never had any problems and I try to get there for 6pm so I think you'll be okay.

Sorry if this has been previously asked, but do they over-subscribe tickets to these free screenings?
I've got tickets for one, and it starts at 6.30pm but I'm not sure if I should get there really early (like with TV audience tickets where you get turned away if you are near the back of the queue?).

I've never had any problems with seats & the viewings are usually in one of the smaller screens - often there are spare places

I have just returned 2 tickets for this at Crawley if anyone is looking for this film tonight. Too much snow here to venture out.

I second that Leanne. 44 Inch Chest is easily the worst film I've seen in a while (and I've seen some bad ones)... sorry in advance people, for I'm about to give away the entire plot!

Middle aged men sit in a room, swear a heck of a lot, film ends!!!! Did I miss anything?

I didn't get tickets myself but my friend invited me, once I saw the trailer I declined the invitation even though Stephen Dillane and John Hurt were in it. No thanks;)

i thought it was an amazing experiment in cinema and theatre. it reminded me of dogville - in that it the performances were theatrical but on a screen. i thought it was witty and clever but it did drag in points. nonetheless was mesmerised. withinin minutes i knew that it would have problems on general release as it is largely talking heads.

i had giggles every time john hurt spoke.

    8/10 from me.

Hit the nail on the head there midian! Would have been a great theatre production (although harder to present the halucinations).

I was also in stitches with John Hurt, and the gay character (don't know his name). There was a lot of fantastic dialogue. It's unfair that it's been pitched as a gangster movie, when really there is hardly any violence. It's more about an inner exploration emotion, and the struggle between revenge and forgiveness.

I was very disappointed at the ending though as I thought that the film was short, and deserved either more closure or a cliff-hanger!
