Free Cinema Tickets - Discussion thread

Just got back home from the LOST marathon at Prince Charles cinema which lasted to Friday morning instead of Thurs. night..

Before i go to bed and have a shower [in that order]

1. Cinema wasn't that stinky surprisingly lots brought baby wipes and deodorant
2. Goodie Bag- Season 6 on dvd [released this week] Poster, T-Shirt, Book


3. Not many people attended, 30 people entered on Monday but Weds night only 19 left. On Friday, 19 people remained standing

Well done, for finishing the Lost Marathon, i know i would'nt be able to do that.

Maybe if they were showing Robert De Niro movies for 2 days?

I thought this might be of interest to some as it has been mentioned on this thread mor than once. The Counterfeiters will be shown on BBC4 on Monday 20th September 11pm-12.30am

thanks guys! still not use to sleeping in regular hours hence posting at 3am but i did spend some time making a short vid of the marathon.

I hope you'll tell us more when you get your system back to normal but I have two questions.

1) 19?? Is that all that turned up or is that the amount left standing when it finished?

2) Why did it run until Friday when it was expected to finish on Thursday? Did the rest breaks over run or were there screening problems?

His post says that 30 turned up Monday morning and entered but there were only 19 left by Wednesday night.

Having said that 30 is really poor - I expected there would be more than the 280 places available and they would be turning people away.

Maybe it wasn't advertised particularly well
