Anyone know why York seems to have disappeared off Sky's lists for their free screenings? It seems to have been missing for the last 3 or 4 films. Hope it's not permanent

Gahhh!
I wanted to see Sourcerers Apprentice but I'm not a Sky TV user0 -
Hope this goes thru' I lost signal first time round.
You should find that you can re-use your 3D specs, in fact most cinemas actively encourage you to do so and will reduce the price by a small amount.
I took ds to see latest 3D Toy Story..... had to pay FULL PRICE:eek:
Odeon charged additional £1 each for 3D glasses..... but I have put these in the glove compartment of the car, so hopefully if we ever go to another 3D we will have our glasses to hand.
Film was excellent, we both thoroughly enjoyed it, but..... full price! Oh I did feel ill when I handed over my credit card:(0 -
Can you please post a warning in future if you are going to post such a frightening subject. LOL
Full price indeed, some of us are feeling ever so delicate today and the shock of reading that has made me come over all unecessary!
Ooh I think I need to lie down to get over the shock.:DThe_Old_Bag wrote: »I took ds to see latest 3D Toy Story..... had to pay FULL PRICE:eek:

I do not quite understand SKY. They have changed their policy so often recently.
Originally, had to be registered with SKY, but not a subscriber to get preview tickets.
Then had to be a Subscriber.
Then had to be a SKY MOVIE subscriber.
Now back to being a Subscriber.
I have SKY, but not the movie channels.
I have missed out on several films which we desperately wanted to see, because you had to be a SKY movie subscriber.
Now we are eligible for tickets, but the only one anywhere near me is Tinkerbell.... not exactly for teenage boys I think !!
Moral of the story is, always check the criteria for all the films you are interested in, because they may have changed the rules again;)
Last week you couldn't get any, this week you may be able to.
Thanks again to all the kind souls who generously post codes and information.:T0 -

You could always use it as a threat to keep them in order0 -
I've just cancelled 4 tickets for Tinkerbell at The Printworks.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0

Why, oh why, do they keep releasing codes for the SAME screenings for Scott Pilgrim. I only ask because there is no way that the codes for shaftesbury avenue keep running out within 2 mins of the code being released and i desperately want 2 tixs. This is lame.0

Agreed.
Milton Keynes is completely full, and it's one of the films I'd like to see too.0
