Thanks to all contributors first off!

My question is about first4movies - i can no longer make a screening but my cousin can with her friend. do they ask for ID when collecting tickets or should a print out and bar code/number suffice.

    thanks

i've been to see 21 movies and never been asked for ID once

Went to see Death at a Funeral @ Didsbury yesterday and Rec 2 came on screen:eek: we all had to move to another screen to watch the film.

I found it funny, I had seen the original, another freebie a couple of years ago, I preferred this one and thought it was funnier even though the story was the same it seemed a bit more up to date, the other one seemed old fashioned.

Just returned 2 x tickets for Death at a Funeral tonight at Brighton Odeon, the usual have to work late!

Hope it helps someone (I know it's short notice but I've only just found out myself)

I saw the original Death at a Funeral a few years ago ( freebie) and although not brilliant, I did enjoy it.
I have watched the trailer to this US version, and decided not to even bother getting any tickets.
The "surprise" element would be gone, and from the trailer, it just doesn't seem in the same league as the British original.
The toilet scene in the US one just seems plain gross  - I remembered exactly what was coming from the original. But where as that was funny in a Ugh way, this was just disgusting. I could not believe how bad it made me feel, and I had already known what to expect, or thought I had.
That decided me not to bother going to this one !!

I thought Death at a Funeral was kinda poor frankly, slapstick pretty much all the way through... Danny Glover is always good though, and otherwise you can pass the time perving away at the beautiful Zoe Seldana.....

Death at a Funeral was a good comedy. Nothing breathtaking that you would actually go out your way to tell someone about. Highlight was the white guy high.
