Check out all the product reviews at Amazon about the Vitamin Plus model. It seems there is a design fault. Perhaps that is why COmet is selling them so cheap?

I don`t condone this, but the other half just exchanged the tefal digital steamer from Comet in Argos for £60 worth of argos vouchers !!

I've just started wondering about this!! We got one of these last Christmas (ie, just over a year ago). Only in the last month or so has it started leaking from the bottom, and I use it the same way each time, so I can't see that its "supposed" to happen. Should have taken it back when I discovered the timer didn't work, but just never got around to it.

And they don't say anything about it that I can find on the Tefal website.
