I just looked at mine and you are right, it does look like plastic to me.
Used it for the first time a couple of nights ago - food was yummy. Quick cooking time too.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Many thanks for this, just got one at the third store I went to. There are now two left at Comet in HENDON, LONDON NW9 store.
None in Mill Hill, London NW7 or Watford, Herts.

Tried to get one in my local comet in Paisley but sold out - I then checked out the argos sale and got a similar (but not quite as good) Morphy Richards Slimming World 3 Tier steamer for £14.75 (half price), cat. no. 421/2887. They also state that the above may be substituted for a George Foreman steamer of similar standard which is still £29.99!! (cat. no. 422/3285).
Pretty good deal, especially if it stops me eating take-aways!0 -
I don't suppose anyone knows if these are still available? I am after a steamer & this looks pretty good. It's not on the Comet website anymore0

I would say probably not, roses, as it was most likely a pricing error by them which they've had ample time to correct now. It may still be worth a look in your local Comet though just in case there's still one tucked away somewhere0 -
i hope that they still have them in the morning as i really want one0

Five star rating too.
Available on the internet.
The 3 teir ones dont seem to get such high rating, I notice."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
Hi all,
I did a bit of research today on steamers.
Somerfield have the 2 tier white Tefal on special offer for £15
Argos have the 3 tier multivitamin plus for £29 (white) and £32 (chrome)
Robert Dyas have the 3 tier vitamin plus for £30 (chrome) or the normal 3 tier steamer for £20 (white)
