I got one of these from Comet in Reading, though it took 35 minutes to get out of the car park.
Worth it though at that price.0 -
Went to Comet at Walton le Dale today & both had gone
you fast cats!! I did however order one for Friday still at £24.99 ;D
Many thanks to the op.Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0 -
We got one from Worcester Blackpole a couple of days ago. It wasn't even out on the display - it was the last one hidden underneath the shelves.
Very chuffed. I also ordered from Empire and got nothing so getting this was great.
Thanks. ;D3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

Went to Cheltenham, they have none, and won`t be getting any more either. But a friend of mine who works there, looked on the system and found that Gloucester have 5 in stock.
Funnily enough, they DO NOT have them on display ??!! So I had to ask for it. I don`t know if the staff are holding them back as I know I wasn`t the first to say that they weren`t on display !!
So theres 4 left in Glos if somone wants one !!

not strictly on topic
but just doing my second meal using the new tefal steamer
salmon on bed of sliced leeks
rice with seasoning
broccoli
carrot batons
and as I was not sure if it would be enough rice for all of us have cheated today and shoved drained tin of new potatoes in top basket too
so easy to wash up and the fish smells nicer than when I microwave - seems to linger even if I do the steam and lemon juice trickBaby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0 -

Hi
If you look at the picture and description from the original link at the start of this thread (argos) it does say the steamer has a premium chrome base and if you look at the pic it looks like a chrome effect as well.
Well for all those who have the Comet special like me, what sort of base do you have, I wouldnt even go as far as saying mine has a chrome base or at least a chrome effect base, it just looks like regular plastic.
What do you think? Im not complaining as its still a fab bargain! - im just curious
cheers
