Laptop battery not working - can I do anything?

    There are plenty of websites selling Ei-Systems laptop batteries. I'd link them but apparently I'm not allowed.

    Oh well there's always google.

    Is there any way you could try the battery in another laptop to check that it is infact the battery and not the motherboard thats the problem?
    My battery stopped charging a couple of months ago, all the lights still came on and it worked fine when it was plugged in but it was the motherboard that wasn't working.

    You could also look in the setup to try and find out what it is, you press F something when you start your computer up i'm sure someone else here will be able to tell you.
