Laptop battery not working - can I do anything?

thanks for thatI previously used www.laptopbatteryshop.co.uk to replace the battery on my then Acer TravelMate 2414, after about 12 months the original battery would only hold 10% of the original charge but I got a new one from here for about £40 and it had double the capacity of the original battery, the battery life with the new one was amazing!Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0

Not Hong Kong! I got an Acer one from Hong Kong (cheap ha ha ha) but it was rubbish, and only lasted 6 months. You get what you pay for!
Have you asked PC world to recommend one? (and then try to source it cheaper...)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
If it's an own-brand one, you might be limited to PartmasterSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
