Hi Mrs R,
Just been catching up on your diary . I had to laugh when I read the above .... i could have written it .:) I am also very girly girly and have DH , 3 sons and a male puppy to put up with:(
On the puppy training front .... do you keep pup in a crate ? Our stays in the crate at night and when we ar out . They don't really like to wee or poo on their own bedding so they learn bladder & bowel control. As soon as we get up or get in we let him out his crate and out into the back garden . He has been very good and was trained almost immediately. Although he did wee on sofa at w/e but this is a rarety .
Hope you are having a nice day.

Thanks 40sm!
Yes our pup is in a crate with his bed and from day 4 or 5 he learned not to wee or poo in there - and he now only "goes" either in the kitchen on newspaper, or in the garden....it's just we would rather he always "went" in the garden, but he can't get out there at will until we get a flap fitted, so then he uses the paper - could be worse I guess. And he's only going to be 5 months oldat the weekend, so think he's doing well, all told......took the DSs considerably longer!! Think once the visit of the French boy is over, getting a flap fitted is top of the list....more expense!
Yes, this week it's me, 4 boys, the OH and the boy dog.....need more girls in my life!

I think your puppy's doing ok at 5 months, mine will be 12 months soon and was probably house trained about 8 months properly.

I don't have a flap, i was lucky enough to have him clean about 4 months, now at 3 he comes and taps me wrist when he wants to out if i haven't noticed, at when bed time comes routine tell hime its bedtime, open the door, give a bit of a biscuit and put him to bed with the gate up so he can't join me in bed.( wish I'd thought of that for the oh.):rotfl::oDH CC £969.00, bank loans *2 £27634.00,Overdraft=£696.00 Total Debts to Tackle = £29299:o sealed pot member 923=£26.99, £2 club member 75 = £0.00 2011 challenge member 360

Thanks for the puppy posts all! Seems only 5 minutes since I was fretting about baby/toddler routines, now it's the puppy! He's 5 months old today.......
See my new signature below - won't be long until that Egg one is sub £4k, which will be another milestone.....
Have good w/e all - bowling with our French guest this evening, which has set me back £38, but still, got to be hospitable.....

Well done you! Can't wait until mine looks like that. OH and I were saying that although we are not on the best wages in the world, that we will feel rich when all this is paid off, next milestone after that, saving a house deposit. Saw a lovely old stone cottage today. Just the thing.
Hope all the boys are well behaved over the weekend.

Thanks thrifty! I think when you've got used to ploughing all your disposable money into paying off debts, when you're debt free, you will feel incredibly well off! In my case perhaps less so, as I'll still have the DSs and their school fees, and then uni to come for the boys too -well, I hope so- but at least I'll have learnt some fab MSE tricks along the way.....and not just MSE tricks, but life lessons, I feel, about the value of saving for things, delaying gratification etc etc.
On which note, just got a free Graze box via my new Red subscription....which in itself was kind of free, as subscribed via my Tesco vouchers....and just used this site to book for Azzurro tonight with a voucher....so a good MSE day all round!
Mr R rather upset - he took the DSs and our french guest to "our" team's FA cup quarter final match today.....and they won...and so will play at Wembley in April in the semis...except Mr R and I will be en Paris, as it is the weekend of the marathon he is training for...and we have already booked non-refundable Eurostar tickets...he's desperately trying to think of a solution....but I don't think there is one! Poor Mr R, you can't have it all....
