Its a rip off to go to the cinema, I have to confess (naughty mummy), that when dd was younger she thought the cinema only opened on a Saturday morning for the £1.00 movies........ think got it away with it for about 6 months.....

Just a thought invest in an orange pay and go sim card, theirs always freebies floating around, as long as you've topped up £5 you can continueally claim the orange wed (bogof), does make a difference xx
or the mse way - find a friend with an orange phone - get them to do the text and forward to you..... (works a treat) xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
My children have now been told that the pictures are shut during the week :rotfl: I'm even thinking about having DS's birthday party on a Saturday morning to keep it cheap as chips!

Aha great minds think alike! I have told OH today that my cards are going back in the tin. I have been a bit complacent and popping to Tescos and switching a few pound here and there. So the cards stay at home and I will take a few coins into work for emergencies. It really really did work for me last time.
Macgirl - you have ruined my childhood now, my mother was evil all along lying to me about the icecream man:rotfl::rotfl:1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

That's a very good idea BTD, it will certainly cut unnecessary spending. I too nip out for bread/milk and end up "needing" things which add up to £30.
Sorry IMD! We don't really get ice cream vans here, but my parents do. Once we were there and DD1 said, without even looking up "Oh that's that funny van again" and carried on playing. I shot a look to my Mum, who just laughed to herself. Poor deprived child!0 -
Remember when my DH spent £800 on CC without telling me - well that day I threw ALL credit cards in the fire, except one for absolute emergencies which I gave to my mum (Jeez hope its not a big emergency, there's nothing on it!)
I have a debit card but it is 7 miles to nearest bank from home and in work the nearest ATM is difficult to park at so if I do need money.........I really really have to think about it!
If that helps you any!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

You know Pickle, I am not sure he knows yet because after that he would have been too scared to ask where they were if he went looking!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
