That should help you
The deafult log-in for the router is username: admin and password: admin and you can log into the router via http://192.168.1.10 -
My router is only connected to my sons pc in his room, how do i set it up to connect to my wireless laptop.0

You set your laptop up to connect to the router. On your laptop you need to scan for wireless networks, find your's and then enter your pre-shared key and thats it.0

I can find my wireless network but where do i find my pre shared key and where do i enter it on my laptop.0

probably best having it set to WPA-PSK (Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key) so most connections can support.
Just enter a normal password that you would use probably more than 8 digits long.0 -
Sorry but i have no idea where to enter these.0
