I might be getting a new HD TV (32PF5520D)
It has the following ports:
Number of scarts : 2
Ext 1 Scart : Audio L/R, CVBS in/out, RGB
Ext 2 Scart : Audio L/R, CVBS in/out, S video in
Other connections : Antenna IEC75, DVI-I, Common Interface

Audio output - digital : AC3 over S/PDIF (Optical)
AV 3 : DVI-I with HDCP, Audio-in mini jack 3.5mm

Can anyone tell me how I can connect my 360 to it so I can view in HD quaility?
They have help on how to do it here but I don't quite understand what I need to buy (I have the premium console)
Can anyone help me and tell me what I should buy and what to do?
Thanks in advance :j

Exact same model my parents have, took my 360 home a few times and hooked it up fine.
You will need another cable though. It doesn't have a component (RGB) connection.
I used a d-Sub (VGA) cable from the 360, and plugged that into a DVI convertor, then plugged the convertor into the tv's DVI socket. This makes the tv treat the 360 as if it were a pc. You'll end up with a high resolution, something like 1320 x 768.
The cable I got also came with Phono sockets for the sound. If you want to plug the sound into the tv, you'll need a phono to 3.5mm jack convertor (as the tv has a 3.5mm jack socket).
Here are some images to give you an idea of the connections I'm talking about:

The VGA cable I bought from Play.com:

Thanks for that.
The only thing is that in the faq it says:The VGA cable can only support PC mode, that means in HD mode, you will see the prompt 'Video mode not supported' on the screen. The supported screen resolution in XBox 360 will be '640x480, 1920x1080, etc' ONLY. It will not display 480p, 720p, 1080i resolution.
I thought that 720p, 1080i resolution etc is what you need for HD mode?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

720p, basically means 720 horizontal scan lines, or pixels.
720p runs at a screen resolution of something like 1280x720 pixels dependent upon your tv.
By running in PC mode, you'll be connected at a similar resolution like 1320x768 pixels. So basically, will be running at a higher resolution, which is what HD is."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0
