Went to proms in the park last night... got home late... overslept... have now had breakfast and am waking up!

Spoke to my godfather and am going to visit him in Kent Thurs/Fri. I've got another cake-decorating course booked for Wed, so that only gives me today, tomorrow and Tuesday free to get stuff done!!!

Suppose I should find my list and see whether I managed to get any stars for the flying I did in Devon (crafty - I was on holiday, but had to do the end of season packing up... it's not as bad as flying at home, as the cottage is minute, and there isn't much stuff in it!)

Anything I do here will count towards next week's lists...
  • Morning everyone!

2nd pair of bedroom curtains washed, spare blanket, work clothes.

One massssiiiivve pan of River Cottage Gluteny on the go, it makes a load and went down a treat with my mum who has had many jars this year! Making some to give to her for Christmas.

Going to attempt some HM ketchup this afternoon, brownies and soup, better get a shuffle on!

Valli the free eBay listing I was asking about but it's ok I found it :) thanks julie it was in my spam box, I must get a few things on there tonight like the caravan shock absorbers. Why can't you charge postage?
kazw it's rather odd, there is a few groups where I-Mods have wandered in and took over, the ones already on MyFreecycle I assume will stay that way, it's not a nice feeling when there is a threat of someone just comig in and pulling the rug from under you on a group you have spent a lot of time building up and working on, we moved yesterday.
Qullion can you post a picture of the room/furniture...then people may be able to suggest. Must admit I like the fact laminate is easy to clean but it lifts in no time and looks untidy. Good luck for tomorrow.
pigpen just the response I expected :rotfl:

Weather gone from lovely to very windy here with showers, so will be swimming then home I think. DP got in really late from work last night so unsure how much he will get done or what mood he will be in. Oh bother I need to clean the caravan, I forgot about that....ok I best do a list and we can get that done then swim from 2pm

    Lunch - before I vacuum
    Shake out throw overs
    Take carpets out and shake
    Vacuum floor and carpets
    Clean benches/cupboards
    Clean windows
One day I might be more organised...........

I think I can't charge postage because of what I am selling - GBA cartridges. I just checked my listings and I had put the same set of details for two different games! Listing edited.
One went (yesterday) for over £12.00 -same as I am selling so fingers crossed!
Re the carpet/laminate I have carpet in most rooms, vinyl in kitchen and bathroom.
Laminate looks good but can be so easily damaged and it's cold...
carpet adds to the soundproofing too...

I don't use a recipe, but basically I make up a cereal mix (which I also use for porridge) using a combination of:

    jumbo oats
    porridge oats
    rice flakes
    millet flakes
    buckwheat flakes
    barley flakes
    wheat flakes
    oatbran
    wheat bran
    wheat germ
Greenbee - can I ask where you get your cereal mix ingredients from?
I'm not sure I have ever seen the various flakes in the supermarket (or maybe just not been in the right place)
