I shall join you both in a HHC if you don't mind. My bedroom is one of the worst areas of the house so I'm going to get stuck in today.

First morning back for DS was suprisingly okay but was gutted to find he won't be doing swimming this year as it clashes with his riding for disabled. Don't get me wrong he's very lucky to do horse-riding but he won't swim for me and is nervous in the water. I really value those swimming lessons as I can't afford to send him privately.

Anyway on with the room of doom....

I have inadvertently joined in ALL the HHC's this morning by converting them to HHI's!

Just got one load in the TD to sort and iron/fold and all the washing is done :D Been watching F1 while I have been ironing and fielding a few phone calls so quite pleased with myself.

Serena I would have loved to do photography when I was at school but it was not an option way back when :rotfl: which reminds me I need to get holiday pics sorted at some point. Will join you in a :coffee: if it's not too late, need a snack as well!

I've brought some glasses from my room to downstairs.

    That's it for now.
Will look at the lists for inspiration today.

I need to find someone who can repair floorboards on a landing, who would I look for, a carpenter?

  • Well, that wasn't madly productive, but better than nothing!
    I've:-
packed up all the lunch bits that were in the fridge
Made 3 lots of work lunches for me
    eaten brunch *slurp*
and talked to my mate on the phone.

I'm going to crack on now with poo patrol and the washing. See you in a bit.

    In my HHC of gardening

Collected other people's rubbish from my garden
Hoed the bits of garden that I weeded last week
Swept the path by my kitchen (to see if OH notices)
Chopped down some rhubarb to take to my mum
Did far too much weeding for it to be funny but I can see a difference.

I have about 2 hours until I need to leave for work/mum's so I think I might call it a day. I don't want to be tired to work or it will be a chore.

    How did everyone else do?

According to the weather forecast on tv we are not meant to get any rain over the next five days. I might be able to make a big difference to my garden. It is huge and really unmanageable at the mo.

Go me Go me the family room sort is finished

There are no piles of anything on the floor for the first time in years and it is going to stay that way!

Triker - yes a carpenter or a small local builder

Going to hoover all of downstairs now and mop the floors and then lunch before pilates.
