  • That's sounds nice - how did you make it? I love HM soup for lunch practically every day. Could you post your recipe when you get a moment?

Just off the wipe out the microwave and then tackle HHI at 4pm

The recipe is here. Its supposed to be celery and blue cheese but I don't like blue cheese so I leave it out. Its one of the nicest soups I make. Well worth it. Especially as the celery was in the staff shop so 1/4 of the price! I've discovered today that it blends better if you don't use the very small sticks of celery in the middle. They seem to be really stringy and then you can't blend the soup smooth. The cream makes it really lovely too. I used double today because thats what I had in but I've also used half fat creme fraiche before. Let me know what you think if you end up making it.

Well, I'm about to leave work for the day. It has been a grotty day so I want to get home to do some flying. For one reason or another, things at work are getting a bit out of control, and I find that cleaning makes me think things are back under control - well, in my little part of the world anyway. I'm also off to Wilko where I saw a lampshade that will fit DS's newly decorated bedroom perfectly, and it was only £5, but it was the only one so I hope it is still there. I have a lady picking up some freecycle stuff later and I don't want to be out when she calls.

Afternoon all, haven't caught up yet so I hope everyone is OK.

    Today's list is complete
. I also polished everything in the living room and the computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs and did the stairs. I've got the shopping coming tomorrow so that should mean less to do in the morning. Work soon:(

She's lived away so being back is strange for her as well as the rest of you, but I'm positive she is very grateful that you've welcomed her back and being there for her in what must be an awful situation. Hugs x
