No worries, better late than never.

It was quite a productive HHC

I vacuum packed as much bedding as possible but I didn't have bags big enough for the quilts so I am going to get some in town when I meet OH in about an hour. I also cleared the bed in there so the list now looks like this:

• [STRIKE]Vacuum pack bedding[/STRIKE] Finish off tonight
• [STRIKE]Find home for left over stuff on bed[/STRIKE]
• Package stuff up from course at work and put in loft/put away
• Work out what to do with other stuff in room
• Tidy on top of wardrobe
• Move chair back downstairs
• Put shelves in cupboard for books

Had a phone call from OH to say he will be out later for a couple of hours, so instead of watching tv I am going to carry on with my mission. I want to:

finish vacuum packing the bedding
possibly sort out the stuff from my course
if I feel brave I will clean the oven but I am hoping that when OH sees my hard work today he will offer to do it for me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
oh well I can always dream

DD2 has just had the most humongous strop over making me a pot of coffee!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Bless! That was quite some growling! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I s'pose I'd better sew DD3's trousers for tomorrow. :rolleyes: ..... when I get my coffee that is :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

HM celery soup consumed...yum yum! DD2 in bed, mum gone and I've just finished a coffee. Did a bit in the kitchen first so lets see what's left.

Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
Clear a sticky dishevelled cupboard
Level Three
HHI
Clean the oven and hob..
Extras

1. Clean out the fridge.. make use of anything almost past its best
2. Wash the windows
3. Dust and Deweb

Will go and do a bit more now.

No flying done, but I've been to see my cousin to get advice about having a stove put in, and also been up to the shop for a gossip and a giggle ... some silly woman had parked on the side of the road (single track) - clearly to mean to pay for the car park like the rest of the world and when the delivery lorry tried to get past it took the back bumper off. So the shop called the traffic guys, reassured the lorry driver that it wasn't his fault as this happens all the time, and then we stood and watched for a bit (well, no traffic can get in or out of the village until the damaged car and the one in front of it are moved by the police as the lorry can't very well reverse all the way down the street!).

So... the moral of the story is - don't park on the side of a single track road unless you have left enough space for a fire engine (or, during harvest, a combine) to get past!

Hope you're all having a productive day, and everyone who's back at school has a lovely time!

ETA - I have done some flying after all - I washed the dining room lampshade!

Don't think we'll get out to sea today as the fog is coming in over the island. Hope the sun shines tomorrow...

Hi all, I'm afraid I have not kept up with the thread today so hugs to all those in need and extra for Soappie, I hope the ironing thing got itself sorted(or at least moved from where you can see it!!!!)

Going to do a HHC at 4:30....need to sort out my phone contract first xx
