The recipe is here. Its supposed to be celery and blue cheese but I don't like blue cheese so I leave it out. Its one of the nicest soups I make. Well worth it. Especially as the celery was in the staff shop so 1/4 of the price! I've discovered today that it blends better if you don't use the very small sticks of celery in the middle. They seem to be really stringy and then you can't blend the soup smooth. The cream makes it really lovely too. I used double today because thats what I had in but I've also used half fat creme fraiche before. Let me know what you think if you end up making it.

Lovely - will give this a try this week as I have mcuh celery to use up!

I am back into cleaning mode now after a well earned few hours off. I have got more vacuum bags so I am off to get that ticked off my list.

I'm really pleased with how far I've got with the family room today but I'm going a bit stir crazy now!

Going to go out for a bit in the morning, need to go to the bank, buy a birthday gift etc and then I'll do another stint on the sorting, I'm sure I'm over half way now.

  • wm on, dw on. Huge hugs for those who hate their jobs, I love mine. Annoying, hey? Still, you wouldn't want your kids in the hands of someone who hated it?

I'm in in a gentle way this week, thanks to pigpen, toots and soappie.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x
  • Sorry to hear that Holly, but if it wasn't to be, it wasn't to be... I bet something better comes up. :D

Embb that's good to hear, I did wonder how you were getting on with it all. :T go you! :D

Minor drama over, DD1 lost her bus pass card so we couldn't just renew her pass.... but eventually she found it... the child needs to seriously declutter her room!

Trousers let down, and don't need re-hemming! :j result!

Right, bedtime business for these little monkeys!
