The tasks I need to carry over for the next week are

Manic Monday ~ Kitchen of Grot and Diming Room of Gloom
    Level Three
    Clean the oven

    • Vacuum pack bedding
    • Package stuff up from course at work and put in loft/put away
    • Work out what to do with other stuff in room
    • Tidy on top of wardrobe
    • Move chair back downstairs
    • Put shelves in cupboard for books
I have vacuum packed all the bedding I had ready, although I have some more to do when it is dry tomorrow.

OH said to leave the oven and he will do it with me. I am absolutely exhausted from today so I can't do anymore. Roll on tomorrow, I hope it will be an easy day!

Thanks for everyone's kind thoughts today. Feeling a bit better now and the cold and numb symptoms are wearing off now thankfully.

Pleased with how much I did today instead of leaving the kitchen list until Sunday which I usually do. just need to wash up and stick the gammon joint in to cook overnight. Soup mix soaking now. All ready for some batch cooking tomorrow!

Just cheering myself up watching the US Open -shame it is on so late due to the time difference.

Will try and get up early and make a start to Tues list as I am determined not to leave it all until the weekend again like I usually do and then I find myself cleaning all weekend!

Holly.. There must be a much better job out there waiting for you!!!

GnB.. anything we can help with? You know where to find us if you need an ear!.. ((((hugs))))

LL.. thinking of you hun. Oh.. and don't worry about me and my bleeding.. I know what it is I just need time and to stop being so difficult and get it sorted. I'l be absolutely fine once I get myself sorted. Back at hospital Thursday I think.. must check appointment.

Welcomes and welcome backs as necessary

    Today.. OH has

    Minced the grass
    Tied up the pruned trees
Put up my new washing line that I hung loads of towels and bedding on and snapped.. *giggle*

    I have..

pruned the 7 trees in the garden
    Folded 4 loads of laundry
bathed and deflea'd the children.. they have been clear all holidays and went to that flipping god squad group last week and I now have 2 of them hopping! They are obviously very tasty but it REALLY annoys me that people have had all this time of school to clean their children and haven't.
    Loaded the DW x2
    Wm x4
    TD x2
Made the boys bring down their laundry and made DD3 pick up hers from the front room and brought all the dirty towels down and washed them
Cooked an apple crumble using the apples form the trees in my garden!!!!!!!! :D.. I baked.. in my new oven that I've had for 8 months.. I am no longer scared of it.. it will not burst into flames I am just being silly!! I baked a banana and cherry loaf on Saturday too as I got 12 over-ripe bananas for 50p :D that is now cut into pieces and frozen.

The eczema on my face has decided to flare up again.. possibly due to XH tellingthe children they had to be rude and horrible to new OH despite the fact he is seeing someone else and has been for several months.. I wouldn't dream of doing anything as pathetic as that. If the children like his new woman surely that makes things better for him and them? Ditto if they like OH.. which they do.. and he wonders why I haven't asked him to come back.. though he finally brought me the coats back for the 2 little ones after I demanded he bring them or I'd go get them as they need them for school tomorrow.. he at first said he didn't have them.. I'm sure he thinks I am stupid.

Anyway... off for another cuppa and some HM apple crumble for OH.. I made it.. with real live apples from my trees in the garden... it is probably minging.. but heyho.. I don't like it anyway.

Tomorrows list will be up momentarily!

yes, we've just borrowed seasons 3 & 4 from BiL. Been waiting ages for them to come from lovefilm so were very pleased to spot them on their shelf!

Just had MiL on the phone for 20 mins. They're just back from hols so she was telling me all about it.

greenbee - i remember you once saying you make your own muesli (sp) - can you give me the ingredients?

No, but thank you. Went for a quick visit to my mum and dads today and my dad wasnt at work which is really unusual. Asked why he wasnt at work and it was because he had been in hospital having treatment for cancer:( He didnt want to worry us so hadnt told me or my brother. My brother still doesnt know as he is in oz and my parents dont want him to find out while he is so far away.
