  • (((((hugs)))))) G&B sorry you're having a rubbish time love.

Parents eh? My mother did the same thing.... I'd been thinking that she was being a rotten mum, she hadn't been helping me at a really difficult time, and I thought she couldn't be bothered... turned out that she had bladder cancer. :(

I do hope things begin to pick up for you and yours very soon angel.

Dont suppose you can say printing off the list is flying can you?

    Thought not.

    Well I have today
    • Had major row with DD who threw a hissy over losing an earring back while I was trying to get her ready to go to the childminder this morning
    • I threw a hissy over the above and left DH to deal with it even though he was getting ready to go on his motorbike to his course 45 miles away
    • got to work on time (just) DH was an hour late by the time he'd solved the earring problem and walked DD a mile to the minder
    • made peace with the boss who I'd thrown a hoolie at on friday
    • finished work and collected DD
    • took dd into town and purchased spare earrings and earring backs to prevent any further probs on that front another day.
    • cooked tea
    • cleared away
    • made DD lunch and DS sarnies for tomorrow
    • helped DD with her homework
    • webcam chat with DH who is away until Thursday
    • S/S kitchen
    • 1 load washing from WM into TD
    • phone chat with little bruv
and thats it :o cant even pretend i've done any more so I will skidaddle and have an early night (for me) and hopefully do a bit more tomorrow.

Hope all is well with everyone and big hugs to all those who need them (especially GnB)

    Kaz x

Kitchen all done - even cleaned the top of the fridge freezer, top of kitchen cabinets and a big cupboard overflowing with pyrex. My Mum is going to relieve me of some pyrex dishes and glasses at the weekend which is great. Where does all that stuff come from?

Struggling to get the DS back into a suitable bedtime routine so he'll be awake for the start of school on Wed. Every other Mainstream child starts back tomorrow but his teaching assistants are on an autism course tomorrow. Means I won't have any queues getting the last bits ofuniform :-).

Then of course theres the impending visit from his mate after school. Very worried as his Mum says he's nervous about my Dog who he's met loads of times. As he's physically disabled he's worried she will knock him over (a big lab). But theres not much I can do with her for 3 hours - it is her home too. They will just have to spend the time in DS's room and lock her out.....

Now what to feed him - my DS doesn't eat 'human' food as he describes it so not a question that normally stumps me. Quite a novelty having a child who eats in my care...

Hugs to all and Toots - you are quite right - BABY STEPS :-)

    Evening all,

Sorry to flit in and not have flown - I just wanted to say many thanks for all of the good luck wishes for my first day with the kids. It went reasonably well - the boy I was worried about was really trying it on all day, and I think he even hit his one-to-one this afternoon (although I can't be sure as I didn't see it - I did report it to the head though just in case). Had a meeting with the SENCO after school about him as including me, there will be 5 adults working with him in the space of a week, so we need to make sure we are all singing from the same hymn sheet. My colleague and I decided to have both our classes in the hall this afternoon for team games as it was our year-group's slot for the hall for PE, but it was very hard work as they are a very chatty bunch and of course it echoed in the hall. They will be having proper lessons tomorrow, and both of us have been advised to come down hard on them tomorrow to reign them in before they get worse.

Just finished doing the science plan for tomorrow, filling in the weekly timetable with the Learning objectives and written the plenaries for this week's literacy. I'm off to bed now as I'm absolutely shattered!

Huge hugs to all who need them, particularly GnB, holly and LadyL (sorry if I've missed anyone but haven't had the time to read back).

Possibly won't be back online for a bit, as I have a meeting after school every day this week apart from Friday at the moment, and will be going to dinner at my M&D's on Friday, so may not pop in until the weekend.

Take care everyone, and nice to see you back toots - I was getting worried as I hadn't seen you around on last week's thread.

    Night night all,

    sexymouse xx
