.... and extra for Soappie, I hope the ironing thing got itself sorted(or at least moved from where you can see it!!!!)

Funnily enough, when I checked the ironing pile place this morning, there was not a single t-shirt or pair of y-fronts to be seen. DiL either did it in the middle of the night, put it in the bin or the Borrowers have taken it. Either way I ain't complaining!

Oooh Boddy - that's exciting, another Great Grandbaby! When's it due?

Carlsberggal - thank you - yes you're right about DD not feeling 'home'. I rationalised it after I wrote it. Of course it's not her home anymore - she's not been living here for the last two years or so. I thank you for your wisdom xxx

Hollyh - hugs about the job - but I'm sure there's a better one around the corner...

G&B - big hugs and I'm sending your Dad virtual good luck healing

Greenbee - we've had sea fog all flipping day here - it's been like a blanket... so much for the heatwave!

Piggers - hugs to you and well done on the crumble from the apples in YOUR garden!

SexyM - glad your first day went well and hope you're not too exhausted by the end of the week

    Lo-lo
    - well done on today - you CAN achieve tomorrow's tasks....

Toots - when you have a moment, I'd like a Monday star please.

DD is much more sensible this evening. She's over her hangover from Saturday night's partying. We have a decision from her ex that he would like the settee that's currently in best friend up the road's garage so we've organised delivery of that next Saturday. I suspect that may be another crunch point...

I have to write a speech for a council meeting on wednesday so that'll take up some of tomorrow but I do hope I'll find time to do the living room as well.

Ok did some bits today but needed to do some baking for kids lunchboxes and by the time I had done that and had a veg use up from stuff in the garden and stuff in the fridge (chopped up veg for either tonights stir fry, veggie/tom soup and some in with the chicken bones from sun for stock as well as some frozen for another day) as well as a dentist visit for all 3 kids, back was starting to ache again. At least living room was done at weekend so just keeping on top today and tommorrow. Got some washing and ironing done so not too bad a day.
