As I think I'll be using a walking stick for some time, I'm thinking one of these instead of my black number.

    Whaddya think?:D

You're supposed to be getting rid of stuff, not finding an excuse to collect more. If the one you've got does the job, then use it (mind you, there's probably some logic in having ONE spare... but you don't need one for every outfit!)

Soappie once they start paying for things themselves then they will realise how good you have been to them. Only once i had moved out and bought my own house did i realise how much she had been subsidising me. not to mention the housework and cooking!

I think pigpen may be having a nice time with her man if her comments the other day were anything to go by! lucky her! I am sat here trying to do my planning but want to be distracted instead!

Soappie happy job hunting xx what do you want to do?

Thanks Quillion - if I knew exactly what I wanted to do it would make it far easier!

Trikes - what you really need is what NN has - a collapsible walking stick like what you can get from here:

    Collapsible walking stick

That way, it folds up in your bag when you don't need it but, if you get tired, you can just whip it out and voila, a walking aid. NN loves hers.

Actually Ms GB, I have got rid of tons of stuff today. Myself and hubby decluttered loads, the bin is full, including mucho paperworko and an old desk top computer, plus many, many magazines and papers and bags of tat that were lying around.;):p:rotfl:

I just fancy a spare, I don't do matching outfit thingys, I'm quite, quite scruffy and proud.:D:j

i'm not sure she needs encouragement (she'll be getting one of everything!), but the seat sticks/shooting sticks might be handy - that way, she can always sit down if she's tired!
