First of all you have to decide what you want... if you aren't using one of your own photos, then you have to find a royalty free/copyright free picture.

Then you need to go to the user CP, and down the left hand side there's a link for avatars. You can either link to one on the web, or upload one from your own PC.

actually *folds arms in style of fishwife* since MY DS has, in his schoolbag, the uniform he changed out of at school on Friday because he came home in his PE kit and it will stay in his bag until HE puts it in the wash THEN I might wash it IF it's a washing day (so not until Tuesday NIGHT then) I would say NO.
(And DDs trousers have been washed, shaken, line dried and put in her wardrobe because they didn't appear to need ironing and I am learning some sense apparently...)

Sorry! Misunderstood the star system. Will try better this week, though I can't promise anything. I have to complete my tax returns this week - first time without an accountant's help - flying might take a slight backburner!

Toots - no - no word on completion date but an electronic transfer of funds was made for a deposit on Friday so they hope to exchange in the next few days. I'm feeling a bit like the wicked mother because I haven't promised to pay for carpets and furniture like DiL's parents did yesterday. But then, I guess, I did offer them some saucepans which they refused and, as the offer for carpets etc. is already there, there's no need for me to add anything more is there?

This coming week I've decided I really need to job hunt after my summer off so good job hunting vibes are required if anyone has any to spare...

Thanks for the reminder - I have to find the form to I need to fill in, otherwise it's a whole tax return... and I don't have details of my mileage claims for the last year and a bit as they were all on the online system at work. Do you think I can ask them to pull all the details off from April 08 onwards and send them to me?!
