As I'm one of the few here who's actually admitted to buying a house in the last few months, I should really be going with rises rather than falls, but I think we'll be at around -3%

That's standard, theoretical houses, of course, as normally used in discussions here. No deviant properties.

My house, being far from standard, would only skew the figures with its increase in value of around 20%, so I'll exclude it, especially as won't be for sale anyway.:p

I'm sure that nice laminate and new TV you bought should keep it above average prices.

Nah, it's not what I'm adding, but what I'm taking away that will make the difference. e.g. After hoovering half a dog from under the woodburner, the living room had a different ambience altogether.;)

Deposit safely back, thanks. (They didn't look under the compost heap.)

MIL has gone, but may return in October unless we can all catch swine flu or something.

I have only planted one courgette so far, but I'm spending most of my time reaping rather than sowing. Well, burning and pillaging would be more accurate. I now have the carbon footprint of Godzilla and a set of 'smelly clothes' to don whenever I light another fire. I'm trying to kill the National Thistle Collection before it seeds.....

Now there's a thought, clothes with 'mood aromas' built in......:rotfl:

    B0rker +2.6%

It is very interesting to see that the bulls are somewhat less optimistic (more realistic?) with their generally minimal HPI predictions (starting at +1.3%) than the bears are with their HPC predictions (starting at -3%).

    0% for me.
