  • If you cancel your subsription for the non HD box, you will not be able to play the recorded programmes either.

    When you goto your planner, it will show everything but it will not let you watch. Its like if you had the movie channels and recorded loads of films. Then cancel they stop you watching you recorded films.

    Certainly am, dont pay sky a penny and can record any of the free channels I receive on my sky + box.

    Well thats a result for you, but you certainly shouldnt be able to! Out of interest do you have your ex-subscription card in the box? I believe its the card that authorises the record functions so when the kill signal is sent to the old ones when all have been changed you will probably lose the functions.
