Anybody looking for the transformers ultimate bumblebee it's on sale now at £67.47 at Argos, having said that I bought one for my DS when the first movie came out and it cost £80 and I paid full price for it and I have to say that it was the worst toy I've ever brought him, it's hard to put together and the sound effects are crap and as of right now its lying at the bottom of his toy box so I definately wasted my money there.

As for my kids when I've finished DS (8) will have had approx £250 including clothes and DD (3) will have had £150 including clothes, I must add though that a lot of it was brought in the sales and I earnt £250 of it by being a member of shop and scan and food on the go which I'm quite pleased about.0

lordy lord...i couldnt imagine spending so much at christmas, or birthdays or any other time of the year to be honest lol
we have 3 `children between us..a 7 yr old , 5 yr old and a 1 yr old all boys
my 5 yr old is almost doen for xmas and it isnt really a lot, he got everything on his list because his list bless him is very modest
he wants:
wheres wally book 3 and 6 (i have bought atravel book which has 5 of them in there...6.99)
a venus fly trap ( going to geta grow your own 3.99)
pjs

that is is his list i also bought him
a toy story money box (12.00)
a toy story bag (2.49)
toy story figures (5.00 shouldve been 10 but as i got them in disneystore they were on offer if you spent over 10.00)

total for him 55.00 approx.
the 7 yr old we only have every other weekend he is much harder to buy for..he has everything he wants at his mums plus he never gets to play with much when hes here.
his santa lists runs along the lines of tv for his bedroom..a new ps2 (or something similar ) etc etc....nothing little or suitable for a 7yr old...so we are making it up as we go along.
so far he has the new lego ramises board game (something we can all play together)
so still more to find
...plus his bday is the 29th nov.
the baby...we are done for him...his bday is the 30th nov so this list is shared between the 2 days
he has:

electronic nursery book
small push along tractor
mr man teddy ...these where bought from tesco 3 4 2 witha 10.. off voucher too...so cost 22.00
2 board books with teddies in a lil box
think thats it.
we have a 'crazy' day on boxing day (as thats when we get the 7 yr old)
the boys named it crazy day lol...but this is the day when it is just us..we stay in play board games..games console...eat what we want etc just spend time enjoying each others company
...we dont visit anyone and noone visits us

We eat cold cuts and chocolate ,usually all laid out in the middle of whatever board game we are playing so we can help ourselves !
Hit the sparkly wine at 11am so no driving/visiting
+ it takes off the edge when the kids have the inevitable arguments about cheating/winning /loosing:rotfl: 0 -
I have went a little OTT thins year I think. I have 2 little girls, 3 and 1 started buying in July and I have loads. I have spent about £150 in all with probably about another £100 to go. I need to still buy stocking pressies new PJ's for christmas eve and both kids need cosy coats as are both just about heading up a size so I may as well get them for Christmas.
I will also be making some little things like snowman soup, reindeer food etcMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000

I have a strict budget of £100 each for them each year but this year could be a little less.
My 9 year old wants a ds lite to replace his broken one.
My 11 year old wants a netbook but has saved up over £130 himself over the year from birthday money from relatives and friends and some money he saved from doing chores etc.
The 15 year old just wants the cash!
I have got them a few small stocking fillers but all cheapy things.0 -
i've spent about £400 - £500 each on both my kiddies,
My kids are ONLY spoilt at christmas, i never by them toys throughout the year, except on birthdays, and you know what, they are (even if i do say so myself ) the most polite, grateful well manored children, so i think they damm well deserve it :T0 -
i usually spend about 300.00 on ds and this includes a big pressie. his b'day is 2 weeks before xmas, he will be 10 this year and he has said as he is getting a bike for his b'day just to get him something small for xmas. i will prob spend about £200 on him that includes wee things i have picked up through the year. i dont like him getting less for xmas just because his b'day is so near:oIn 2009 i finally gave up smoking Have been smoke free for 3 years!!!!!!

I've been putting up the extra £20 i get via csa since i got it and living strictly on child ben and my tax credits so most of my esa money has been put up this helps pay for xmas ,birthdays and trips for school as and when they arise, admittedly things do get tight week to week but then i know i have money there I spend £150 on each child for xmas plus their stockings which gets filled with "sweetie" goodies for each of them (thus making it having to buy less goodies just to sit in tins etcs ) if that makes sense as they all have their own sweets and the children 5 of them all put their names in a hat and draw one out so they only buy for one of their brothers/sisters and put a limit of £10 pounds for the present it works for usPaul Walker , in my dreams;)0
