I have a soon to be one year old (jan) and to be honest, ive probably spent £50-£60, might not seem a lot to many, but shes 1, she'll probably be more interested in the paper! and all the stuff i have got her are things like a walker, some books ect. Probably next year she'll get a little more, but im trying hard to search for bargins and keeps costs down, as i dont want to get into debt after xmas being her birthday 3 weeks after. Merry Xmas x0

The problem with a list is, it is limitless, it is a bit like saying what do you want in all the world? On the one hand you want to know what they would like to receive but on the other hand, you don't want to feel forced into buying things because they are on the list. It shouldn't be a shopping list after all, it should be a wish list and with wishes, some don't come true because they are just a bit too unrealistic
I'm not keen on lists either, but they have to write something in their letter to Santa.
I tell my lot that they may ask for 3 things, and then they may get some surprises. This years lists consist of:
DS1 (10) - doesn't believe in Santa but keeps up the pretence for the others. He has asked for Alvin and the chipmunks DVD (£5) and a remote control car (£20) We are buying him a bike because he has outgrown his old one but hasn't thought to ask for a new one.
DS2 (4) All that's on his list is a toy tow truck. We have got him the Dinoco helicopter from the Disney Store as a big present after seeing him hugging it when we were out shopping and telling us he loves it :rotfl:
DD (2) is too young to write a list, but I have got her a wooden dolls house and furniture from ELC
I have probably spent around £200 each on them, but I make no apologies for it. I have saved money on practically everything I have bought for them as I always shop around and look for discount codes etc.
I don't waste money on smoking, drinking etc, my only vice is wanting to spoil my children at Christmas time. They are spoiled with presents on christmas morning, and spoiled with attention the rest of the time, we always bake cookies for Santa, play games, watch xmas movies together etc.
I love christmas and want to make the most of all the magical feeling while my kids are all still young enough. :j:santa2:Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
