Help with tenant

it's called reasonable force, the level of "battering" you give them is dependent on how much they resist.
if the police are called, it's a 50/50 situation and invariably the police will come down on the tenants side as it is the LL who has trespassed and broken the law.0 -

Of course the fact that you have broken the terms of your contract by disturbing neighbours and not allowing them to live in peace, which is usually in a contract, stands for nothing? If you have broken your side of the contract why should the LL not 'break' theirs? And TBH if you've beaten the owner of the property, I do not believe that the police would stand on your side, working closely as I do with the police.
You sound like the sort of person who carries on regardless of other people and their right to live in peace and does whatever they like whenever they like, even if that involves playing music at full blast at 3 am. "Professional tenant"? Professional nightmare, more like.**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

carol, you are confusing two threads here, please re- read my advice on here, especially the earlier posts.
On the other thread I am advocating the tenant be an !!!!, because the LL/EA are being !!!!!!.
On this thread I am trying to help the LL as the tenant is being the !!!! for no reason and using my unique perspective as a pro tenant to try and help him resolve the situation.
It's quite clear from what has been described in this thread, that this tenant has no intention of being a good tenant or any indication that he can be reasoned with.
At the end of the day, all I care about is being able to live in my property without harassment from both LL's and fellow tenants, god help anyone who crosses me. I have learn't the hard way, that some people can only be reasoned with by giving them a dose of their own medicine.
I wish it wasn't this way, but sadly during life you will come across people who will take advantage if you are not willing to stand up for yourself.0 -
Professional Tenant also known as, jobsworth, Phallushead, unemployed, scrounger.......
I could go on....0 -

I suspect it really bothers when you think someone is in a superior position. The 'lord' in 'landlord' must cut you deeply.
The truth, that most people without chips on their shoulders realise, it that it's a business relationship - both need each other and both are equal.
I'm sure you'll come back with 'but I wouldn't want to be a landlord because .....'
but it's too late for face-saving, you've already given yourself away.
dont cut me at all or feel inferior, I quite enjoy the term and feel quite superior especially when a LL is saying it to me as I am throwing them out of their own property and telling them dont come back or i'll call the police.
I do agree, it is a two way process though, and LL & tenants need each other, life would be much simpler is evryone was reasonable and fair to each other. Unfortunatly it isnt, there are both a lot of bad LL's and tenants out there and both have there methods of being dealt with.0 -
I was saying 'you' in reference to the tenant that is currently being discussed, as he has broken the terms of his contract why should he be entitled to protection from it?
And there's standing up for yourself, and then there's having someone beaten. And I'm not sure that having someone beaten, as you stated yourself, is considered 'reasonable force'. As for having to get someone beaten by another, are you too cowardly to do this and "stand up" for yourself?**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

if you are in the situation where you are trying to remove a LL from your flat using reasonable force, i.e. pushing and grabbing hold of LL it's not unusual for the situation to escalate and find yourself in a situation where superior physical force is needed to defend oneself.0 -

You said: "I've had LL's battered" which means that you didn't actually do it yourself... Or have you already forgotten what you've said?
Is "superior physical force" mummy?**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D
