I'm in France NOW, where the heck can you get it at 1.13 euro a litre?
    it's about 1.30 euro everywhere I know.
Which is what I found a couple of weeks ago - about £1.15 a litre - so I found the other post a bit confusing too! I know prices can vary a little between service stations, local garages, supermarkets etc., but I didn't find anything near 1.13 euros a litre.

    They vary A LOT,

I use LPG (which the French spell backwards GPL to confuse the English) and that varies from 55c to 80c Litre (I'm Lucky I've got a 90 litre tank onboard).

Motorways were quite a bit more expensive - we got our petrol at Geant supermarkets - they were much cheaper. It also may be regional?

Geant is usually a good bet but they vary a lot depending on local competition

Tolls from the Lille to Paris about £10 from memory (April 09)

PS avoid the E10 petrol unless you know all about it and have a suitable vehicle

We are driving down to Disney next weekend, and I am planning to fill up in the Sainsburys at Ashford, assuming it will still be £1.02 a litre, then will fill up at a Geant or Le Clerc hypermarket for the return journey.
I'm not sure what the cost of fuel at the Disney petrol station is, but the last time we drove it was more expensive.

Oh and have fun, its ace there

Not far from Disneyland is Torcy. There is a Carrefour there where the fuel price should be reasonable, and you are not really going out of the way. Cheap hotels there also if you need accommodation. Leave the car at the hotel as it is only a 10 minute train trip to Disney.
  • Diesel (Gazole) can be bought significantly cheaper in France if you keep of the service stations on the main roads. Try and fill up at a supermarket, i came back 3 weeks ago and besy i got was 89 cents a litre, about 80p. If you go to calais, and head out there is a hypermarket/mcdonalds/football stadium after about 5 mins of leaving the port, i always fill up there, cheap and handy.
As for tolls, if you go on viamichelin website and put route in it will tell you the toll you will pay, i travelled approx 500 mile to the south west and cost me about 60 euros in toll one way, and people moan about road tax over here!!!!
    Up the Rams !!

Check the link for route from Calais to Marne la Vall!e(Disney more or less I think). At the top of the page it will give you estaimations of tolls and petrol costs when you type in your departure and destination

got back from Disney on monday - unleaded was about 1.30 euros and the toll charge on the route the sat nav took us was 20euros20cents.
I'm afraid I wasn't adventurous enuf to wander away from the main routes - we even got lost going from disney to davey crockett when we forgot to turn the sat nav on!!!
have a great time - and stay up for the night time parade - its worth it
