    200ft is the same as 15 3-bed semis on top of each other :eek:

    The monster hill I do is 300ft and I lose 2 minutes on each loop that includes it - but more importantly the second time is very bad on the legs because lactic acid builds up and you can easily get stuck in that slower pace and not speed up again - especially when tired...

    thats why I start to think I don't understand hills Sally, I live and have worked around Birmingham.....its no worse (in my head) than Leeds....there are a couple of steep streets but they aren't long stretches....

    maybe they arent 200ft elevations then. That hill that comes off the high street and up to jewelery quarter is quite big..bet it goes around there
