must admit i thought it was too good to be true was on tenderhooks at what would arrive thats why i did not put it on here till mine arrived just in case it was not the LCD package couldnt believe my look u will know straight away as soon as u see the slim box its packaged in dvr comes in seperate box this is 2006 model has world cup pic on front

Do they call you even though the email says dispatched? I would hate for it to come when I am out.

yes they called me up the day before delivery

also mine said black jacket this was out off stock so dressing gown was sent as alternative but dont get too giddy as its not up to much but TV & DVD/RECORDER are the bargains so this is just another added bonus on top

I ordered this TV and DVD package last week and got an order confirmation email straight after placing the order. Today I got an email saying that my free bathrobe ahd been despatched and that the other goods would follow when available so I called empire stores and was told that I would not be receiving the TV as it was out of stock when my order went thru...Arghhhhhhh!!!!! Has anybody else heard from empire re a delivery date or cancellation of order???

Not heard it was cancelled! Didn't the email say the TV was dispatched? My email said they had both been dispatched.

Did you call them as the email didn't say the TV had been dispatched?

Edit: my dispatch email said 'We are pleased to inform you that the goods shown below are now ready to
be despatched from our warehouse and should be delivered shortly' I am assuming this is the same as saying they have been dispatched as in my account it says it has been dispatched.
