Good luck.....:D
I note they say 5 days they will get back in touch, not sure if that would be working days, so if I were you as well, put it into writing, post it by recorded delivery as well, to make sure they receive the hard copy as well, by posting by recorded delivery, they know that you will be aware that they have received this.
All the best and please keep us posted.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

Well I think my guardian Angel was here over night :j and fixed my machine, I thought I would just put it on spin to see and what happens and the noise has gone and it seems fine how weird is that, might put on a wash of like 5 things on a quick wash of course and see. I did email Currys last night no reply as of yet so let see what happens.
Thank you again for your support and will keep you updated.

Wow what a surprise, that is great :T:T:T.
I take it those screws were taken out at the back of the machine before you used it?
I know that some forget to do this and "what a racket" and of course it thumps round as well....., my mate was one of them.....it happened when I was at her house, I told her the problem straight away.
Good luck anyway.:A

Check also to see if there isn't something in the drum part.
When this happened to me the wire thingy from my bra had come out and was loose and made the machine make an awful noise. Fortunately it 'surfaced' and I was able to get it out!0 -
Am just about to test it with some net curtains as these are very light etc so wish me luck
