When I had a quick google I saw you could buy a very similar product. It was being sold as a sweet though so perhaps an old fashioned sweet shop (The type with rows of jars) would have it?0

Can I have a recipe please? Just googled it and got two very different versions xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

It was a favourite of mine when I was a little girl we had a baker that used to deliver to our road and he had the most amazing 'cheesecakes' nothing like the stuff you buy as cheesecake today, and his cream doughnuts were to die for.A rare treat when my Mum was feeling in a good mood and needed a bit of something sweet to eat.She normally made all our cakes herself as she really didn't aprrove of 'shop bought' but now and again she would buy me one ,usually if I had not been well and was recovering as I suffered dreadfully with my tonsils0

The recipe i am using as follows
Pack of puff pastry .. rolled out to 5mm and cut into 10cm squares do a small indentation in the center of each square and place a teaspoon of seedless raspberry jam in each..
Next make a batch of frangipane mix
100g butter, chopped
100g caster sugar
100g ground almonds
Drop of almond essence (optional)
2 eggs
50g plain flour
Mixed together and place a 2 teaspoons of the mix over the jam
Put the oven on 200c Let them sit for about 30 mins .. basically go and have a cuppa while the oven is warming up
Cook the squares for about 15mins or until done..
Let them go cold on a cooling rack
Then make the icing
I am going to use icing sugar with some water and liquid glucose.. might need to experiment here on what the quantity's are needs to be a thick paste consistancy .. spoon over the squares and sprinkle the coconut over the top and let them set.. or if you want mix the coconut into the icing and then spoon0
