Do You Make Your Bed Every Morning?

Neither would I judge people for what their standards are or aren't:rolleyes:
I do :rotfl:It's the inner snob in me (even though my oven is filthy, my micro smells and my bed sheets really should get cleaned more regularly! I have double standards of the highest order!Lynzie Lou :dance:0 -
The sheets are straight, we only have fitted sheets
I can see why people don't post much sometimes, gosh, you lot are demanding aren't you?
FWIW, I work a full time job, currently have no kitchen, the house is full of falling plaster dust and commute 2.5 to 3 hours a day. Yes, I have better things to do with my time and no, I don't actually CARE if the bed is made. It doesn't bother me, so there:rotfl:
Ne ne ne ne ne:rotfl:
Don't worry! I will happily admit not making my bed or wearing odd socks annoying me is an odd thing, but then I am a little odd !
Your house sounds like a building site - my sincere sympathies - it's anightmare getting work done, but I am sure it will be worth it when it's all done! :TA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Kitchens and bathrooms are my areas of snobbishness:D and OCD ness too:cool::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
I remember reading a thing in an old Orkney book somewhere about the granny who never bothered making her bed, house was spotless, but as she'd got her 'coory-hole' just right why on earth would she flatten it and have to start all over again the next night ? Makes perfect sense.
As I said each to their own, I hate the thought that I'd judge someone on whether a bed was made or not but, as Jinky says, we all have our areas of snobiness and things that we like a certain way (mine is my kitchen lol!).
xErmutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

 Odd socks..... that would never happen. I would rather sit and sort socks than make the bed:rotfl:

I make my bed the day the sheets get changed (about once a fortnight). The rest of the time it's blissfully unmade. I have 4 pillows, 2 of which stay on the bed and the other 2 go on the floor the first night and stay there till the bedding gets washed again. Can't be doing with stupid throws and pointless scatter cushions. That said I only have expensive 100% cotton bedding.
I do occassuonally put the duvet cover straight, but only if there's a chance I might pull!
I wash up every day but hoovering and cleaning get done around once every 2 months. As someone else said there are a million other things I'd prioritise above housework!I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

Oh wow, I feel so relieved as I thought I was the only one with a thing about my bed and linen etc, I have 3 kids, (one foster child and 2 of my own) and feel like my life revolves around housework, my only sanctuary is my bedroom, I am crazy about my bed, I love high beds and sumptious bedding all white or ivory if poss, I love victorian sheets and vintage bedding, getting into a bed that has a generic fibre filled duvet and unmatching bedding would feel almost criminal hahaha!! If that makes me boring then oh well, You cant beat the feeling of crisp white sheets, feather duvet at the end of the day.
I also collect vintage eiderdowns if anyone has one in great condition in their airing cupboard I would bow at your feet and make you a delightful offer in order to relieve you of it lol xx
If anyone has ever been to the "Victorian Village" at "Flambards" in cornwall, thats where I call home, you could gladly lock me in that little victorian village and I would be a happy bunny.
