  • i recently applied a contract with C.C.S and i was in debt over £80,000...
...i spoke to a welsh gentleman...he was superb....he explained everything thoroughly and made sure i was happy and satisfied before i proceeded with the claim...i was at first unsure when he mentioned the setup fee of £199.99...he estimated a claim an average of 25% on loans C/C's and car finance (which i had blackhorse and im sick and tired of them)...my estimate was around £8000...a cheque came through my door last week with a staggering £11,000...unbelievable...thankyou so much and im so greatfull for your services...

Sounds brilliant, please let me know where to send a cheque to. Is it possible to put the fee on my credit card before it all gets written off?

CCS called me today using this their 3rd phone number. He went through the spiel and got to "what financial associations did I have" ... my reply ... " I'm only 10 " (which I'm not!)

    He hung up sharpish.

Other numbers for them are 02033017730, 02033018904 and this one 02033016232

(just posting this to flag the phone numbers on here as scam numbers should anyone be searching for them online)
  • I keep getting DAILY calls from these poeple, when I answer noone talks. Is there ANY way I can stop them annoying me? I am starting to feel seriously harrased by them now.

Call your network provider and say you are being harrased by this number. They should be able to block it.

In worse case scenario they might give you new number.
  • I too have had several calls from a number saying about claiming back PPI. The woman asked if I had a credit card in the last few years and I said yes. She started on her spiel about how I might be able to claim it back, and I replied with "I'm not interested". She asked what I wasn't interested in, and I said "paying someone to do it when I could do it myself for free". She just went quiet and said "oh ok, goodbye". Made me smile anyways :)

Also, no more calls from them since :D

That money talks, I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"

  • Apologies, I have posted this in another thread but it is equally relevant here. Just hope it stops anyone else from being denied their money back with ccs.

Hate to admit I fell for the same scam. C-C-S.CO.UK CONSUMER CREDIT SERVICES (now recruiting according to their website, commission based) stated that I would only be charged once the paperwork was agreed etc, however they charged as soon as they had sent it out. Quick check of the paperwork and I immediately asked for a refund. Sent off their refund request which they sent out, was told I had to wait 28 days (until september 7th). Fumed, however my fault for being daft and giving out bank details. Lesson learned.

Waited 28 days, no money so on the phone. They like the others said it was some banking error. Waited 2 periods of 5 days while they 'tried' in vain to send money back. Then they said they have sent me 2 cheques which haven't arrived. One by recorded delivery. No show.

I phoned again and asked for a cheque sent special delivery so we could track the whole journey of these mystery letters which keep vanishing, at which point the customer services got very nervous, told me to stop ringing, to put a letter of complaint in and then hung up the phone! Odd. Or a scam to deny refunds?

Phoned up consumer direct who told me to put it in writing to the company and phone back in 15 days if I dont get anywhere. She also said it might be worth trying the visa chargeback. Sent letter off including complaints.

Phoned bank up today and they WILL REFUND THE MONEY FOR ME and claim it back themselves with their fraud investigation team, given the refund was overdue by 3 weeks after the initial 28 days!

Phone your bank and ask about visa chargeback. They will help you.

Also I checked the money processors for the delightful c-c-s.co.uk and it is creditg dot com a specialist debt collection company. maybe that is why they have difficulty in paying refunds, they collect the money through these people. As for the case of the mysterious cheques, thats another matter. Maybe there is a rich postie in llanelli.

ask your visa supplier for chargeback and explain they are fraudulently with-holding refunds. all the best.

    Major development!

I gave the company my credit number and start and finish date under the pretence of using it to check my eligibility during my aforementioned conversation, i refused to give them the 3 digit authorization code as I started to get suspicious (hence my previous post)...rightfully so! I received a call from my bank saying a mobile phone sales company had unsuccessfully attempted to take £150 from my account 3 times. Thankfully my bank refused all transactions and have issued me a new card. I fear I must be extra-vigilant from now on!

The company in question went by the name of Consumer Credit Services, the operative by the name of Simon Morse from the phone number 02033015295. They claimed to be registered with the Ministry of Justice with the reference CRM20280 and offered the support number 08454347425.

BE AWARE WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS CDI Credit Management:mad:

They call you out of th eblue and ask if you are owed money by any company even if WAIT for it the company have gone through, I was contacted this time last year and offered a deal by these guys which seemed to good to be true! They said that fro £500 they could chase any debt even if they company were no longer trading, at they time we were owed best part of £30k so thought hey this might just work, after a high presure phone call I agreed to let them help after all if they could deliver it would be great. Next morning they had sent in fedex to collect the paperwork and a cheque, was told we had to wait 14 days before we contacted them as they had to put a case in place and get all the facts! At this point a little bell rang in my head and I stopped the chaeque at the bank! I was right I googled the company, found out they take the money and run! Follow the link here as they have been investigated a few times for miss leading the paying public! I had to cease trading due to these bad debts with the loss of a few jobs but if I can stop scams and help others not fall into the horrid world of being scammed then I feel I have done something right.
