    unless you want to run linux then you are better paying extra for the slim.
    runs cooler,uses less power and has a bigger hard drive
    you can get them for 'just' £20 more

    But for £200 with BLP, it's a pretty good deal. With the PS3 Slim, I'm weary of buying it from online stores in case anything goes wrong. The high street chains have it for £250 but getting an extra controller and a decent game takes the price well over £300.

    Anyway, I'm not really that desperate for one as I have way too many distractions at home then I need atm. :P

    tesco and toys r us are doing the slim for £229 instore
    tesco do the fat with 3 games & 2 blurays for £250

    it may not be in every store. if they have this offer in my local asda they arent making any effort to let customers know. i bet all the staff get first option on offers like this. people will be doing well if they manage to take advantage before they sell out.
